About this product
Four towels long enough to lie on properly.
XXL striped cotton beach towels, 91.5 by 177.8cm, sold as a set of four in tan and beige.
Four extra-large striped beach towels in tan and beige, each 91.5 by 177.8cm and woven, about 0.9 kg a towel.
The size is what makes a beach towel a beach towel. A bath towel on sand is a compromise you notice within ten minutes; 91.5 by 177.8cm is enough to lie on and still have something dry left over.
mid-weight is a middle weight, and on a beach towel that is the right place to be. Heavier towelling takes longer to dry in a bag, lighter towelling does not take enough water off after a swim, and this sits between the two.
Ringspun combed cotton is what the store publishes for the yarn, with a two-ply construction. Combing takes the short fibres out before spinning, which is why a combed cotton towel sheds less lint in its first few washes than a cheaper one.
One thing worth saying plainly: "Brazilian" describes the style rather than a verified origin. We do not publish a country of origin for this product, and we would rather say so than let the name imply one.
